Almería 1930. He is considered one of Spain's most vanguardist photographer and surprises the photo scene with his "Colores del sur" in the 70's. The beaches of Almería with their first tourists who arrived from Northern Europe were Carlos' inspiration for his photos of clear "Pop" esthetics.

Discovering them in a show a few years ago, the very Martin Parr could not believe the date of manufacturing of the images and attributes innovative merits to the author.

30 years later the freshness of these daring and unmanipulated photos still deserve our admiration. Photolounge.eu has the honor to present exlusive, limited edition prints of some of the most emblematic images of his body of work.

In 2003 Carlos receives the Spanish National Award of Photography.
